JOHOR DARUL TAKZIM FC

          
Johor Darul Takzim FC (Malay: Kelab Bolasepak Johor Darul Takzim) also simply known as Johor Darul Takzim and familiarly as JDT or Johor DT, is a professional football club based in Johor Bahru, Johor. They play in the top division in Malaysian football, the Malaysian Super League. The club has played at Pasir Gudang before moved to Larkin Stadium after the takeover.

JDT was founded as Kelab Bolasepak Perbadanan Kemajuan Ekonomi Negeri Johor (PKENJ F.C.) and participated in state football competitions before entering the Malaysian football league in 1988 in FAM Cup, later then changed its name to Johor F.C. in 1996, and to Johor Darul Takzim F.C. in 2013 (unsure about the year , but still around 2011-2013). In 1994 and 1995, the club won 2 consecutive FAM Cup titles as PKENJ FC and was the runner-up in 1996 as Johor FC.
From 1997 until 2001, Johor FC was promoted to the second tier Malaysian football league, the Malaysian Premier League (which was then known as the Premier-Two League), and won the title in 2001. The club earned promotion to the Super League in 2006/07 season after FAM's decision to expand the league to 14 teams and was respectively regular top 6 finish in the league until 2010 season. The club was the first club team in Malaysian football league to enter Malaysian Cup in 2000, which was previously dominated by State Football Associations,[3] after defeated ATM FA by aggregate in second-round of qualification. The club also participated in AFC Cup in 2009 replacing Negeri Sembilan FA who qualified did not enter the competition.
